It is one of the best plants for filling gaps between pavers, stepping stones, and paving where a seamless green effect is wanted. Tiny white flowers appear above the foliage in spring. Needs consistent moisture to maintain its lush appearance - in Perth's dry summers a position with some shade and reliable irrigation is ideal. Irish Moss is the standard vivid green form - the most commonly planted Sagina for between-paver use. Part shade. Consistently moist soil. Water regularly - Sagina will brown and die back if allowed to dry out.
