Leucospermum Emperors Red

Leucospermum produces the iconic pincushion flower: a dome of long, prominent styles radiating from the centre like pins in a cushion, in vivid orange, yellow, red, pink, and cream. They are extraordinary cut flowers and equally spectacular as garden plants, flowering from late winter through spring. Perth's Mediterranean climate is ideal. Full sun, sandy well-drained soil, phosphorus-free fertiliser only, minimal summer irrigation. Prune lightly after flowering.
