The Story
Griffiths Ash is a semi-deciduous to nearly evergreen ash - which makes it more practical for Perth gardens than the fully deciduous Northern Hemisphere ashes that can look bare and untidy through our mild winters. It produces attractive, finely divided foliage and clusters of small cream flowers in spring followed by papery winged seeds. It grows to around 8-12m with an upright to spreading habit, making a good medium-to-large garden and street tree. More adaptable to Perth's conditions than most ash species. Full sun. Adaptable soils. Drought tolerant once established.
