Gardenia Augusta Cupid

One of the most fragrant shrubs in any garden. Gardenias are subtropical and perform well in Perth's warm summers, though they prefer slightly acidic soil and consistent moisture. Full sun to part shade. Well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Mulch heavily. Water regularly. Feed with an acid-forming fertiliser. Treat yellowing with iron chelate. Augusta Cupid is a compact form of the classic Florida - same intensely fragrant double white flowers on a smaller plant suited to pots and courtyards.
