Frogfruit - Phyla Nodiflora

Frogfruit is a low, creeping Australian native groundcover that has recently attracted attention as a lawn substitute and bee-attracting groundcover. It spreads flat along the ground by runners, producing tiny white flowers almost continuously through the warmer months that are highly attractive to bees and small native insects. It tolerates light to moderate foot traffic - not as heavy-wear as buffalo lawn but adequate for low-traffic areas. Full sun to part shade. Adaptable soils. Very drought tolerant once established. Can be mown lightly to maintain a tidy surface.
