Blue Fescue forms fine-leaved, compact mounding grasses in distinctive blue-grey tones that function as year-round colour and texture in the garden. Excellent in dry, sunny positions including rock gardens, gravel gardens, and drought-tolerant borders. Full sun. Excellent drainage. Very drought tolerant. Elijah Blue has a particularly vivid, intense blue-grey colour - more saturated than the standard Glauca. The colour is most vivid in cool weather and full sun, making it outstanding through Perth's autumn and winter months.
