Bee Alive Bidens is a compact, mounding to spreading groundcover producing masses of bright golden-yellow daisy-like flowers over a very long season from spring through autumn. The flowers are continuously produced rather than in a single flush - deadheading spent stems encourages the next wave. One of the better small bee-attracting plants for Perth gardens: the open daisy flowers provide easy nectar access for both native bees and honeybees. Full sun. Well-drained soil. Drought tolerant once established. Tip-prune periodically to prevent the plant becoming woody at the base.
