The Story
Rengarenga Lily is a New Zealand native perennial producing broad, arching, strap-like leaves and delicate white star-shaped flowers on branching stems in spring and summer. The flowers are small and refined, quite different to the bold flower forms of most strappy plants. It grows to around 60-80cm and suits shaded garden positions, including the challenging dry shade under trees, where its relaxed, arching habit looks at home. Part shade to full sun. Well-drained soil. Water regularly while establishing, reduce once settled.
